İhsan Karaman

Graduated from Istanbul Medical School in 1986 and completed urology training in 1991 at the same institution. Appointed as the Chief of Urology Department at Haydarpasa Training and Research Hospital, Istanbul in 2001. Promoted to Professor of Urology in 2008. He served as the President of Istanbul Medeniyet University between 2014-2018. He holds the title of Consultant Surgeon in pediatric urology and a PhD degree in History of Medicine and Medical Ethics, He is the Director of Department of Urology, Medistate Hospital, Istanbul, Turkey. He has authored three books, 100+ book chapters and more than 300 academic papers in the field of urology.
