He was graduated from Erciyes University Faculty of Medicine and completed his urology residency at Kartal Dr.Lutfi Kirdar City Hospital. He became an urology specialist in 2001. He worked as a chief assistant at the same hospital until 2011 and then worked as a faculty member at Trakya University Faculty of Medicine between 2011-2012 also gained the title of Associate Professor during this period. In 2012, he returned to Kartal Dr.Lutfi Kirdar City Hospital. In 2018, he moved to the University of Health Sciences staff. He was appointed as Professor in 2020.
Professor Dr. Bilal Eryildirim is the head of the Urology Department at the Hamidiye International Medical Faculty at University of Health Sciences. He has 70 international articles, almost all of them in SCI/SCIE journals, and 40 articles published in national journals.
His articles have been cited more than 1200 times, with an h-index of 20. Among the scientific organizations that he is a member of are Turkish Urology Association, Turkish Andrology Association, Endourology Society, European Association of Urology, European Society for Sexual Medicine and International Alliance of Urolithiasis.
